Polio Eradication in Djibouti: Community Feedback Mechanisms During Polio Campaigns — Q&A Document

ght pro

On 25 March 2026, the UNICEF Djibouti team presented how they built a community feedback mechanism that captures, analyzes, and responds to community voices during polio vaccination campaigns. The session — part of the Global SBC Polio Exchange webinar series — generated exceptional engagement, with over 40 questions submitted by participants.

The Djibouti team has compiled and responded to every question from the session, organized by theme: epidemiological context and vaccination coverage, strategy development and institutional anchoring, feedback collection tools and processes, data analysis and dashboards, community engagement and trust-building, migrant populations, gender integration, frontline worker support, digital tools, and lessons for routine immunization — among others.

Download the full Q&A document below, and access the session recording and presentation slides for the complete picture of Djibouti's experience.
