Case Study - Using WhatsApp Groups to Share Social Media Impact on Polio Vaccination - UNICEF Afghanistan

Senior social mobilizers in Kandahar created WhatsApp groups to share positive social media messages and to receive requests for support from group members. This case study describes the activity, results and lessons learned. The WhatsApp groups were also used during COVID-19 response to share information on prevention, hygiene and case numbers.
