This Part 1 of the Standard Operating Procedures facilitate timely and effective response to poliovirus events and outbreaks, and incorporates lessons learned from previous outbreak response efforts. It summarizes roles and responsibilities of countries and GPEI partners, and describes standards for polio events and outbreaks response.
